​Steve Ryder Stringed Instrument Repair has been in operation since 1987. The shop is located in South Portland, Maine. The following is a list of work that is done in the shop.
  • Magnetic pickups for 3, 4, and 5-stringed instruments.
  • Repairs on acoustic and electric guitar, bass, mandolin, and banjo
  • ​Member of the GUILD OF AMERICAN LUTHIERS since 1983
  • Finishing and final assembly for DANA BOURGEOIS GUITARS in Lewiston, Maine for 3 - 1/2 years
  • Finisher and toolmaker for SBS Guitars (under the Schoenberg label) for 2 years
  • Guitar and mandolin player since 1967
